As usual, I don't have much going on so I figured I'd journal about my recent trip to Busch Gardens. And I thought I'd use my new Maid-sama journal skin to do so ^_^

Our day started kinda early since my mom wanted to get there when the park opened. As we were packing things, Sears came by to check our air conditioner which had quit working two days before. Thankfully, we didn't have to pay for the service since it's still under the warantee....then they told us someone had accidentally switched it off -_- So we called them out here for an AC that wasn't even broken?! Well I sure felt annoyed/stupid.

Afterwards, we picked up my brother's friend and headed to Busch Gardens. There, we met up with some other friends and everyone headed for Alpengeist. I'm not a roller coaster person (and neither was the friends' mom) so we sat outside the ride's exit to wait. When they were done, we pretty much broke off into groups (I was with my mom) and had fun before meeting up again later.

I rode my personal favorite attraction, Curse of DarKastle, and, for once, my mom didn't try to "pet" the werewolf which always drives me crazy. Then, since we were still in Germany, we popped into Das Festhaus for lunch and saw their new Fairytale show. It was very theatrical and entertaining, intertwining classic pop songs with the slight twisting of classic fairy tales.

I did try the new roller coaster Verbolten. Normally I'm not a roller coaster person, but it's mostly roller coasters that go upside that I don't like. Verbolten pretty much follows the same track as its predecessor, Big Bad Wolf, so I was okay with it. Beforehand, I was warned by PrettyAlkemy that there was a point in the ride where you drop straight down for a second. That part I did not appreciate. Overall, the ride was fun and I did scream more than I normally do on any ride. Yes, I would definitely ride it again.

The rest of our group had to leave early, so it was just me, my mom, and my brother for the rest of the day. My brother apparently lost his phone somewhere in Germany, so Mom and I did one last ride (Escape from Pompeii) and we headed to Lost & Found to report the phone. After which, we left the park and headed home exhausted. At home, I noticed sunburns on my shoulders. Isn't sunscreen supposed to prevent that? ><

Oh well, that was my trip. Boring details left out, obviously.

One final note: Recently, I've been dealing with people who complain when I tag them in a journal and express bizarre gratitude when I don't. I've added a new rule, all in fun, that anyone who says they're glad I don't tag them will subsequently be tagged in the next journal tag. One deviant had a slight fit over this. I ask you: What's the big deal? Journal tags are NOT mandatory, people! >< I do them cuz I like them, and I tag you guys mostly to fill the required "tag 10 people" section. And most of my in-person friends don't have dA account so I sometimes pick random followers to tag. If you want to do the journal tag, then link it to me when you do. If you don't want to, I'm not forcing you so don't complain when I tag you. Thank you ><

And now I'm going back to being slightly bored. Laterz!
